Back in the Groove
I've been enjoying our local monthly meetings. After a brief break, most of the group has been able to come back together again for our June and July get-togethers. It's been great to hear what everyone has been getting up to, and talk about what's going on in the world and how we can put our talents toward to making the world a better place.
One of the best things about the group is that we help each other. Meetings are always full of helpful advice when someone asks for it. Even just sharing our experiences can be very helpful.
If you have a group of friends or colleagues that meets regularly, stick with it. When we're kids, we form groups of friends and are kept together by classes or clubs or school activities. It gets hards as adults, we change jobs, move around, and get busy. But it's good to have a group (or two or three) of people to get together with. It gives you a touchstone to the world and time to connect.
